Raveendran Sujitha is an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka and a Notary Public. She joined Varners in 2023, and currently serves as an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Conveyancing practice.

Current Practice

Sujitha is currently involved in advising clients on a broad spectrum of real estate and property transactions, with a strong focus on delivering practical, commercially sound, and efficient legal solutions. She represents individuals, corporations, developers, and investors in a wide range of conveyancing and real estate matters, including property acquisitions and disposals, title investigations, due diligence, and other property-related legal services.

She also has experience in advising on condominium developments projects. Her practice includes advising on regulatory compliance, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, preparing and advising on sale and purchase documentation, and addressing legal issues arising from the development and sale of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. She works closely with clients and relevant stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of complex development transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

In addition to her primary practice in real estate and conveyancing, Sujitha has working knowledge of and practical exposure to several other areas of law. She has assisted with and been involved in matters relating to land disputes, divorce proceedings, testamentary and estate administration, labour and employment issues, company secretarial matters, and immigration-related matters.
