Thevuni is an Associate in our Intellectual Property practice. She joined the firm in 2017 as a legal apprentice and was subsequently called to the bar as an Attorney-at-Law in 2018. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked with a prominent Legal Counsel for two years as an intern.
She is currently involved in a range of Intellectual Property matters with a particular focus on trademarks. She advises clients on brand development, protection and prosecution of Trademarks Patents and Designs, anti-counterfeit actions, as well as, in respect of infringements of Intellectual Property rights for both domestic and international clients.
She regularly attends hearings and inquiries at the National Intellectual Property Office in respect of applications / objections, and is experienced in drafting written submissions on behalf of clients against the grounds of refusal of trademark.
She completed her Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Communications Law at Monash University, Australia in 2019.
